Woodland Public School's Women's Initiative

A group of students with similar interests have come together to create The Women's Initiative to raise awareness and fundraise in support of International Women's Day. This year's theme for International Women's Day is Give to Gain.

This student-led group has organized two events. The first is educational- an activity that engages all students to learn more about women in history. The second is a fundraiser called The Women's Gala where the money raised will go to Yellow Brick House, We believe giving to Yellow Brick House will gain advancement for women and girls in York Region.

We invite our families and friends to donate through this link to further support women in York Region through the many programs that Yellow Brick House provides.
